Screen printing for volume.
the more you print, the more you save.

Screen printing is the most cost-effective way to decorate large quantities of apparel. Bold ink, durable results, and a per-piece price that drops with every dozen you add.

ink on fabric.
heat cured. done.

Screen printing pushes ink through a fine mesh stencil (the "screen") directly onto the garment. Each color in your design gets its own screen, and each screen is aligned and pressed in sequence to build the final image.

After printing, the ink is heat-cured at 320°F to permanently bond it to the fabric. The result is a thick, vibrant print with excellent wash durability — the same method used by every major apparel brand in the world.

Because each screen is hand-built for your design, there's a setup cost per color. That's why screen printing gets more economical with larger orders — the setup cost is spread across more pieces, and your per-unit price drops significantly.

Our screen printing minimum is 12 pieces per design. Here's why that number isn't flexible.

01

12+ piece orders

Screen printing requires 12 pieces and gets more economical as quantities rise. Once you spread the per-color setup across the whole order, the per-shirt price gets much more competitive.

02

Bulk Apparel Choice

The process is optimized for repetition, allowing large quantities to be produced quickly and uniformly. As quantities increase, the cost per piece drops, giving you a practical way to produce high-impact apparel at a price that makes sense for bigger orders.

03

Simple, bold designs

Screen printing excels with solid colors, clean lines, and bold graphics. If your design is 1–4 colors with strong contrast, screen printing will give you the most vibrant, longest-lasting result possible.

fewer colors,
lower cost.

Every color in a screen-printed design requires its own screen — a physical stencil that's exposed, washed, and mounted on the press. That means each additional color adds a setup fee to your order.

1–2 colors are the most cost-effective. Most company logos, team names, and event graphics fall right in this range. A single-color chest print on 48 tees is one of the best values in custom apparel.

3–4 colors are still very affordable at volume. For full-color or highly complex designs, we recommend DTF Printing.

We'll always tell you upfront how many screens your design needs and what each color adds to your per-piece cost. No surprises on the invoice.
